Lithec introduced the newly re-designed LithoScan defect detection scanner console at drupa 2024. While all detection scanners compare the original PDF with the a scan of a printed press sheet, LithoScan has the following innovations:
- Errors are highlighted by laser on the actual press sheet, not only on the monitor.
- Spectral scanner not only detects errors, but measures delta E on spot colors.
- Touchless scanning allows scanning a wet press sheet.
