Many of you know me from my many years working in the Print and Packaging Industry. I recently joined LithecUSA, as Regional Sales Manager representing the LithoFlash Inline Color Scanner here in the Northeast.
The webinar which you are about to listen is an open discussion and focuses on Superior Lithographics' decision to purchase two LithoFlash systems and the benefits they've found since retrofitting their presses. If you have any questions or would like a custom ROI, feel free to contact me directly.
The LithoFlash Inline system can be retrofitted on a variety of presses including Heidelberg, Manroland, KBA, Ryobi and Komori. The system became commercially available in 2014 in Germany. In 2018, AccessGroup International (AGI) became the exclusive provider of LithoFlash in the US under the name of LithecUSA, a partnership between AGI and Lithec GmbH.
The unit is compact, has no moving parts and is completely encased in a dust-free enclosure that will easily fit after the last printing unit or after the coater. LithoFlash Inline reads densities, dot gain and gray balance without any operator intervention by scanning every sheet through fixed camera positions. LithoFlash looks at the data from the previous job vs current job and dynamically adjusts the ink keys and sweep to get the right densities in the fastest possible way.
Webinar Replay: Recorded on February 25, 2019
Superior Lithographics' Vice President of Operations Jeff Ku, and Print Production Manager Jim Eakin discuss results of the retrofit and what prompted them to install another one last month.
